Recently came into a 2x12 Fender Bandmaster speaker cabinet. Complete with prop rods for a good angle up.
Thing is, the Fender labled speakers seem to be frozen. Tolex is in fine shape too after some exhausting cleaning.
Before I even began to mess with them I recently came across an assortment of Celestions, Carvin and other 12" speakers. Think I'll rewire it and try some of the new speakers before I tackle the vintage speakers. It's looking like the Carvins will be installled soon.
Jet City looks good on it, no?
EDIT: Old wiring was easily fixed along with a new jack. Need some pix of original speakers so you Fender folk can id them for me.
EDIT II: Also have matching Bandmaster head. Not sure of electronical condition. Looks good outside but the electronics have yet to be tested. I'm suspect all components are original. No tubes yet.
