Mesa Boogie DC-5 No Power Amp Output to Cab (FIXED)

(Not my amp but it's exactly the same)

Well, after sitting for a while my 1990 Boogie DC-5 decided not to output power. I could barely hear the preamp yet the power tubes lit. About to try some trouble shooting. That guy can just lay sick.

I'm suspicious perhaps a solder joint in the modded serial from parallel loop may have a fault killing anything from hitting the power amp. I'd be happy with a jumper in it if that was the fix. LOL!!

(Solved!)Logitech K800 Wireless KB vs Win 10 2014 Dell Inspiron 17

(SOLVED!) After reinstalling the Dell driver update app and updating much hardware and also the bios I was able to re enable the HUD service and the audio controls now work perfectly.

(NOT SOLVED!) Recently reinstalled Win 10 and ran across this pleasant little issue. This time when I get it fixed there will be step by step directions.

*I realized when marking out my previous attempt to get this great KB to play well with my Win 10 Dell laptop I neglected to say the "messages" were OSD that the Mute was being randomly engaged with no depression of the key. I would only stop without the Logitech app or the HUD display disabled, also disabling the KB's volume control.*

CURRENTLY USING DELL USB CORDED KEYBOARD!

If you own both the Logitech K800 and a Windows machine and have issues (random audio muting regardless of source) here's how I worked around them. I'd love to say I solved he problem but....

After pairing the KB to my existing Logitech receiver all hell broke loose. Messages starting appearing and several keys would "occasionally" work. On a hunch I disabled the HUD service and rebooted. Afterwards all worked well except for the multimedia keys (vol, mute etc). No big loss. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else had the same issues.

One last thing: Don't use any of the Logitech software aside of the pairing app. The wonky issues start again regardless if you've disabled the HUD service or not.
